STONE OF AMEFIA
Our country has many mines in the North Region. In some of them, we can find gemstones. We use them to create unique bracelets, 100% made in Amefia.

We started to create this kind of jewel in 1988. They were created in Juporia, the capital of our country, however this city was too far away from the mines, so craftspeople decided to build their workshops close to the mines.
​
Today, bracelets are still created with the same savoir-faire. Indeed, gemstones are hand-sanded twice with love and passion on full moon nights.
​
In Amefia, there exists a legend behind those bracelets. In 1899, a young 16-year-old girl couldn’t get pregnant despite her numerous trials. One day, her mother found a little gemstone around one of the mines, she decided to sand it twice on a full moon night, then she created a bracelet with this sanded gemstone, and gave it to her daughter on her 17th birthday. One month later, the young girl got pregnant.
The legend explains this miracle thanks to the bracelet and this special gemstone sanded twice on a full moon night. Since this day, those bracelets are symbols of fertility, long life, and happiness. It is given by parents to their child on their 17th birthday.

Each bracelet is unique because none of the gemstones found in the mine are the same. More than this, to be made each product needs around five hours of work. This precious Amefian savoir-faire is mentioned above.

You can also order a personalized bracelet directly in one of our workshops or online. Thanks to this, you can choose the gemstone size, the colour of the bracelet and even add initials. This kind of order needs a period of 8 weeks to be created.

Each bracelet is sold with a delicate cotton small bag.

Place
Our bracelets are available directly in our workshops close to the mines, where you can find exclusive collections made with gemstones found during the last months. On special full moon nights, you can come and discover the sanding of gemstones.

Bracelets can be found in gift shops in tourist places, but you must be careful about fraudulent ones and expensive prices.

Price
The price of our bracelets is likely to vary. Indeed, prices are fixed taking into account the gemstones used to create the bracelet. It is not going to be the same price for an opal and a sapphire.

The price varies from €35,00 to €125,00. It can be more expensive for a personalized bracelet, if you decide to use a big gemstone, such as a diamond.
Sometimes our workshops can make discounts on old collections or if you buy several bracelets at the same time.
You can get closer to our workshops to talk with them about their conditions for a discount price.

Our products are mentioned and made available on Amefia’s official website. Thanks to that, tourists who come to Amefia know about our products and their legend.

We use SEO to be known by many people from all over the world, even by those who don’t plan to come to our country. The products can be ordered on Amefia website. They will receive, with their order, a referral code to give to their family and their friends. If they use it to order, they will have a 10% discount.

For commercial periods, such as Christmas, Mother’s Day, and Father’s Day, we spread out social media campaigns. One for Amefia people focused on our new collections and an international one focused on the legend behind bracelets and classic collections.
