OPICAKE
Who doesn’t love an afternoon tea with a piece of cake? We in Amefia adore our OpiCake and eat it whenever we get the chance. Is there a birthday to celebrate or is it Christmas? OpiCake will be served!

There are different options when buying the special flavoured cake. We sell cupcakes, round cakes and on special occasions (for example our national holiday), cakes are made in the shape of an opium flower.

Place
The cakes are most popular in the South Region. The reason for this is that Opium fields mainly grow in the South. However, the whole country loves to eat the cakes from time to time.
One place that is very important for our sales, is the castles. Lots of tourists discover our beautiful castles and at the end of their tour get a cupcake. These are sold from cute food trucks and attract a lot of people.

Price
The price depends on the size of the cake. Cupcakes are very popular. For a box of 4 cupcakes, you will pay €12 . However, the costs go up with the size of the cake. A round one for 6 people costs €30.

Promotion
Delivery costs outside the country are too expensive and the cakes are best served fresh out of the oven. As we want to guarantee the quality, we only sell the cakes in Amefia. However, we promote them a lot online so tourists don’t forget to try our favourite dessert when visiting our country!

We target tourists online by promoting the cakes on our websites for our tourist attractions. This helps a lot. We don’t have to promote them focusing on our citizens, because they already love them and eat the cakes every chance they get with their family.
