Recent tensions in North region

Dear people of the North, 

It has come to our attention that tensions have been running high lately, therefore we want to clarify a few things. 

Earlier this week King Harry’s council received an anonymous tip about the death of our beloved King George. It stated that the country Evenia had something to do with it. Since we take this matter very seriously we appealed to the UBN council and asked them to interrogate Evenia. Evenia claimed that they had nothing to do with it and blamed Targia for killing our King. As a result the King’s council had decided to make a deal with Evenia. The deal states that they will help us investigate the King’s murder by providing the right paperwork and conducting a thorough investigation into Targia. We hope that this investigation will finally provide answers and we can put the King’s death to rest.

Another matter that arose this past week is the pollution of the water at the border with Zazu. They blamed us for polluting the border between our countries. For this matter we did not appeal to the UBN since we are having some issues with waste control. Instead, we negotiated directly with Zazu and came to a mutual agreement. If Zazu legalizes Opium in their country we will keep the border clean. This is a win-win for both countries as it will improve our employment and export rate and we will keep the border clean. In addition, it will increase the economic stability of Amefia. Furthermore, when we made the deal with Evenia they also agreed to help us with waste control. The people of Evenia have exceptional skills in ecological waste control and will teach us how to do this in a sustainable way. 

We would like to formally apologize if these matters caused worry among our people.
