Vandalised Opium crops

21 nov 2022

Dear citizens from the South region,

As you may or may not already know, some of our opium crops are damaged due to vandalism. We are here to inform you about our investigation and the further actions we will be taking.

Someone from King Louis’ court discovered that it was someone from Magéia who vandalized our crops. Rumors started to spread that the vandalist works for King Harry of the North and that he is trying to start a civil war against the South. Tensions ran high so we decided to solve this matter.

We appealed to the UBN (United Branded Nations) and asked for an extradition order for the person in question, however Magéia refused and said that the person in question acted in the name of the gods and gods superseded anything earthly. Apparently the reason behind the vandalism was because the person in question believed that opium was the reason why our young population dropped out of school.

After negotiating with Magéia, we came to an agreement that there will be no legal action taken. The person in question acted because of her beliefs and understands that what she did is damaging to our country and that because of her actions people lost their income for this season.

However, the person who is responsible for the vandalism has been sentenced to 100 hours of community service. She will have to help rebuild the opium crops. Since she is a farmer in Magéia as well, we thought this was an appropriate task. She also needs to explain her actions and apologize to our citizens in a video. When this video is published, be sure to keep in mind that she acted on her beliefs even if those are not aligned with ours. On top of all this, she is also banned from entering Amefia ever again.

All these elements prove that she wasn’t conspiring with King Harry and we ask you to keep your calm towards the North region since they had nothing to do with this incident.

Keep in mind: the best is yet to come in the South side.
