Tomorrow, October 31st is Halloween. That means it is time to disguise yourself as your favourite character or monster and hit the streets.
Trick or Treat
This year our annual trick or treat night will start at 6:30 pm in the whole country. Everyone stocks up on as much candy as possible and waits until the bell rings. Every time they open the door, they see children dressed up in crazy costumes and make their day by giving them some candy. However, when people don’t open the door or don’t have any candy the children will play a trick on them or ask them to sing a silly song. It is an amazing night that unites the Amefians as everyone is out in the streets and looks forward to this day all year long.
Costume Contest
Once a year everyone has the chance to get creative and dress up as whatever or whoever they like. Naturally, prizes are to be won for the best costumes. The rules are very simple: Have the most creative costume and rock it!
This year we have also decided to add an adult version of the competition where the same rules apply.
The competition will take place at 6:00 pm. Prizes will be announced later on our socials.
Rock painting contest
Many countries have pumpkin carving contests but not in Amefia. Here we have a rock painting contest. We organize one for children and one for adults.
Contestants can choose 3 rocks each and paint them any way they like as long as they are Halloween themed. Over the years this contest has discovered some true artists that are now pursuing a career in arts. This year the contest will take place on the 31st of October at 2 pm. Suit up and find your creative side!
